Since the ICTY’s closure on 31 December 2017, the Mechanism maintains this website as part of its mission to preserve and promote the legacy of the UN International Criminal Tribunals.

Procurement


The Procurement Section is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services for the Tribunal, required for the operations of its three premises in The Hague and its Field Offices in Sarajevo, Belgrade, Zagreb and Pristina.

In 2009, the ICTY procured approximately US$ 35 million worth of goods and services (net lease of its premises).

The majority of the Tribunal’s requirements are goods and services mainly for the maintenance of its premises and operations of its three courtrooms.

The contracting and purchasing activities are undertaken in accordance with the UN Financial Regulations and Rules and Procurement Manual.

• Zero Tolerance Policy for Gifts/Hospitality
