Public Transportation

Trains
The Hague has two major train stations, Hollands Spoor (HS) and Centraal Station (CS). From Amsterdam Centraal or Schiphol Airport, trains go to both stations at least once every half hour. Tickets are for sale near the platforms and at Nederlands Spoorwegen (NS) selling points. For an up-to-date train schedule, see the NS website.

Trams and buses
For public transportation, such as trams and buses, you will need a ticket called a "strippenkaart". You can buy strippenkaarts at every major station, supermarkets, and newsagents or you can buy a single ticket directly in the bus or tram.
