ORIC CASE: RULE 98bis RULING TO BE ENTERED ON WEDNESDAY 8 JUNE, 2005






Please be advised that Trial Chamber II will enter its Rule 98bis oral ruling in The Prosecutor v. Naser Oric tomorrow, Wednesday 8 June, 2005, at 9.00 a.m. in Courtroom III.




Rule 98bis allows the Trial Chamber to "…enter a judgement of acquittal on any count if there is no evidence capable of supporting a conviction." This is the first time the new version of Rule 98bis has been applied, following the latest amendment to the Rules of Procedure of Evidence.
