Prosecutor Serge Brammertz is in Sarajevo today and tomorrow, on his first visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina since his appointment as Prosecutor of the ICTY. The purpose of the visit is to meet with the representatives of the local authorities and the international community involved in issues of cooperation.


Today, the Prosecutor met with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other government representatives at both the state and entity levels. He also met with representatives of camp inmates' associations and the international community.


The visit to Sarajevo continues tomorrow when Prosecutor Brammertz will meet officials of the State Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica and the international community's High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
