Good afternoon,
In terms of the court schedule, some
reminders:
The judgement in the case against Sefer
Halilovic will be rendered on Wednesday
16 November at 10 a.m. in Courtroom III.
In The Prosecutor v. Popovic, Beara,
Drago Nikolic, Borovcanin, Tolimir,
Miletic, Gvero, Pandurevic and Trbic,
the pre-trial judge has ordered that
a status conference be held for all
accused bar Tolimir, who is still at
large, tomorrow 2.15 p.m. in Courtroom
III.
Pre-trial Judge Agius has also ordered
that during the course of the status
conference, Popovic, Beara, Nikolic,
Borovcanin, Pandurevic and Trbic shall
enter pleas of guilty or not guilty to
the new charges sought to be included
by the Prosecution in the Consolidated
Amended Indictment.
Finally, there has been a slight change
in the schedule for the Milosevic trial
this week, with the trial on Friday being
moved from the afternoon to the morning.

Florence Hartmann, Spokesperson for
the Office of the Prosecutor, made the
following statement:
The Prosecutor will be in Sarajevo tomorrow,
10 November 2005, attending a conference
titled "In Pursuit of Justice: An
Overview of Progress in the Transitional
Justice System of Bosnia and Herzegovina" organized
by the Balkan Investigative Reporting
Network (BIRN) from the Institute for
War and Peace Reporting (IWPR). The Prosecutor
will address the audience on the experiences
of transferring cases according to Rule
11bis and once the speech has
been presented, it will be made available
on the internet. During her stay in Sarajevo,
the Prosecutor will take the opportunity
to meet with NATO and local officials
to share her concern on the lack of progess
on the tracking of Radovan Karadzic.
Yesterday, 8 November 2005, the
OTP filed additional evidence to the
Appeals Chamber in the case of Ramush
Haradinaj regarding the issue of his
conducting political activities while
on provisional release. On 3 November
2005, the Trial Chamber rejected the
request for provisional release of one
of his co-accused, Lahi Brahimaj, and
some of this additional evidence provided
for Haradinaj was also provided for Brahimaj.
