Three Judges to visit Zagreb

A group of Judges from the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) will pay a working visit to Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, 18 - 21 September 2000.

The group is composed of the three Judges in the Tribunal’s Trial Chamber I. They are: H.E. Judge Almiro Rodrigues (Presiding), H.E. Judge Fouad Riad and H.E. Judge Patricia Wald.

The visit is intended to enhance contact between senior ICTY officials and legal professionals in the Republic of Croatia. During their stay in Zagreb the Judges will hold meetings with Judges, Prosecutors, Defence Counsel, Law Deans, students and others.

The visit is organised by the Tribunal’s Outreach Programme which is dedicated to ensuring the openess of the ICTY.
