The ICTY has launched the first of its newsletters about the War Crimes Justice Project (WCJP). Available in the Capacity Building section of the website, the newsletter provides an update on the launch and progress of the WCJP.

The WCJP aims to assist the transfer of knowledge and materials from the ICTY to the former Yugoslavia.

Funded by the European Union, the four-million Euro project is being implemented by the ICTY in partnership with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute. The first issue of the newsletter provides details of the WCJP launch, project activities and progress in making project targets a reality.
