Initial Appearance of Radoslav Brdjanin on Monday 12 July 1999 at 5 P.M.

Following his detention on Tuesday 6 July 1999 by SFOR, Radoslav Brdjanin was transferred to the Detention Unit of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

Radoslav Bradjanin will appear on 12 July 1999 at 5 p.m. before Trial Chamber II (Judge Cassese (presiding), Judge Mumba and Judge Hunt). The purpose of this hearing, called an "initial appearance hearing", is to ask the accused to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty on each of the counts in the indictment against him.

This hearing is public. All media representatives are invited to attend.
