Good afternoon,

Turning straight to courtroom activities: -

In the trial of Momčilo Perišić, the Office of the Prosecutor rested its case on Monday with the testimony of the last prosecution witness. In total, 82 viva voce witnesses were called by the Prosecution. Parties will meet on Friday for a 65ter conference. The date for the official opening of Defence case will be set in due course.

The trial of Gotovina and others will resume this afternoon, Wednesday 27 January at 14:15 in Courtroom III.

A Status Conference in the case of Radovan Karadžić will be held tomorrow, 28 January at 14:30 in Courtroom I.

Proceedings in the trials of Jovica Stanišić and Franko Simatović, Vojislav Šešelj, Vlastimir Ðorđević, Mićo Stanišić and Stojan Župljanin as well as Prlić and others continue this week and next as scheduled.

Office of the Prosecutor:

Frederick Swinnen, the Special Adviser of Prosecutor Serge Brammertz, was present to respond to questions related to the Office of the Prosecutor.
