Call for papers for current and former staff members of the ICTY: International Crimes Database Project

The Hague |

The ICTY together with the International Crimes Database (ICD), an online database hosted and maintained by the T.M.C. Asser Institute in The Hague, invite current and former staff members of the ICTY to submit short articles for publication in the online paper series "ICD Briefs".

This is an exclusive invitation for current and former staff members of the ICTY, in view of the upcoming closure of the ICTY in December 2017 and in an effort to capture some of the valuable insights of its employees. Current and former ICTY Defence Counsel and (paid) members of ICTY Defence teams are also most welcome to submit papers.

Articles are due by 1 March 2018. Please see the below link for further details:

The ICTY reminds all staff members to bear in mind any current or continuing obligations pursuant to UN staff rules, particularly regarding confidentiality and outside activities.
