FOURTEEN JUDGES ELECTED BY THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
On Friday 19 November 2004, following seven rounds of voting over two days, the General Assembly of the United Nations elected the following as permanent Judges of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for a term of office of four years, commencing on 17 November 2005 and expiring in 2009:
