A group of 10 interns with the Post-Conflict Research Centre (PCRC) visited the ICTY Field Office today in Sarajevo. The visit was part of a general introduction to the work of international and domestic institutions active in the field of transitional justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Almir Alić, ICTY Registry Officer in BiH, introduced young activists from Norway, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, France, Australia and BiH to the judicial component of the process, presenting ICTY’s most important achievements and its rich legacy.

Anastasios Kastoris, a 27-year old intern from Greece, shared his appreciation for the detailed information provided about the functioning of the Tribunal and the statistical overview of the progress achieved in cases before it, emphasizing that „the presentation has shown that the Tribunal is and must be impartial in its work”.
