Sixty students from Varaždin First Gymnasium gathered to listen to a presentation on the work of the Tribunal and to discuss its achievements with Outreach representatives Christopher Fry and Klara Dokmanović.
The students showed a great deal of interest in the presentation, and found the the statement of guilt of Milan Babić - president of the so-called Republic of Serbian Krajina in north-eastern Croatia - particularly compelling.
"Until now, we have only learned a little about the Tribunal from the media and this is why I think that this presentation was very useful,”said one fourth-year student. “It provided important and detailed information about many aspects of the Tribunal’s work, and I was surprised by how much I learned about it that I did not know before.”
